Engineered Hardwood Frame

Pre-machined solid hardwood frame, factory-stained to match the door leaf. Adjustable for masonry and timber frame wall constructions from 90–150mm thickness.

EPDM Perimeter Weatherseal

Factory-fitted compressive EPDM seal on all four sides of the frame. Achieves Class 4 air permeability and E900 wind resistance in standard test conditions.

5-Point Multipoint Lock

Heavy-duty anti-drill, anti-pick 5-point lock body. Anti-lever hinge bolts on the hinge side provide full-perimeter locking engagement.

Adjustable Threshold Bar

Low-profile hardwood-faced aluminium threshold with integrated compressive seal. Factory-set for floor-to-frame tolerance within ±5mm.

Yes — ERKADO timber doors are designed to perform well in changing weather conditions and provide good thermal insulation. As with all timber doors, proper installation and periodic maintenance are recommended to ensure long-term durability in the UK climate.

ERKADO doors are available in a variety of finishes including natural wood veneers (such as oak, meranti, and pine), durable CPL/laminate surfaces, and painted lacquer finishes. Selected models also offer a wide range of colours, including custom RAL options, depending on specification.

No — glazing is available on most ERKADO door models, but not all designs support it. Availability depends on the specific door range and construction. A variety of glass types and finishes can be selected where glazing is offered.

Since doors are bespoke made, delivery time is minimum 6–7 weeks after placing order.

ERKADO door sets may include some hardware components, but door furniture such as handles and trims is typically specified as part of a selected hardware package or added separately depending on the configuration chosen.
