FD30 doorsets are supplied with engineered softwood frames. FD60 doorsets are supplied with hardwood frames. Frames are supplied in a standard factory clear stain and primed finish. Contact our team for bespoke specifications.

Numerous exit types available including FB2 or Euro mortice lock. 5 lever lock, dead lock, Euro split lock, tubular catch, and bathroom sets can all be specified.
Single doorsets are pre-hung and pre-fitted with CE marked Grade 13 stainless steel bearing hinges (chrome effect or satin silver) with intumescent protection.
Handles, pull handles, push plates, and kick plates are not included as standard. These can be specified separately. Shootbolts (by head or door) can be specified with door pairs.
Assa Abloy DC2000A 9-arm and DC7000A slide arm surface mounted door closers are available on request. Closers will be supplied ready for fitting on site and are Certifire certified.
Lock types available include 5 lever lock knob or dead lock, Euro split lock or dead lock, F60 loss, plus other latches such as a tubular catch or bathroom set.
75 Grade 13 CE marked Stainless Steel butt hinges in chrome effect or satin silver, with intumescent protection as standard.
Variable height automatic flush mounted dropseal with 9mm or 11mm stroke. The seal is self-levelling and accommodates slight variations in floor level. Tested to BS EN 1634 parts 1 and 3. Optional hardwood threshold or aluminium threshold (fitted to frame) available on request.
FD30 doorsets include a 10mm × 4mm intumescent strip. FD60 doorsets include 2 × 10mm × 4mm intumescent strips. Smoke and acoustic seal can be specified as required.
Shootbolts (by head or door) can be specified with door pairs to provide additional security and stability.
Options include 3 arm or side arm door closer in stainless steel. Assa Abloy DC2000A 9-arm, DC3000A, Dorma TS68 EN2–5 adjustable, and Dorma Impulse range. Certified by Certifire and supplied ready for site fitting.

Clear opening dimensions are determined by a number of components. Effective clear opening assumes door can open past 90°, based on a 9mm hinge throw and a 5mm edge gap.

FD30 doors provide 30 minutes of fire resistance and feature a 44mm thick leaf in an engineered softwood frame. FD60 doors provide 60 minutes of fire resistance with a 54mm thick leaf in a hardwood frame. FD60 also includes double intumescent strip protection. Both include cold smoke seals as standard.
Yes. FBS Communal Doorsets are fully Certifire certificated once installed in accordance with the certification scope. The door closers are also Certifire certified. Our team provides the necessary documentation for compliance and building control approval.
